Logging in
Be sure to log in before you edit pages. Once you've logged in, the wiki knows who you are and keeps track of the pages that you've changed.
To create an account, click the "create an account or log in" link in the upper right corner of the web page. Type in your name, a password that you can remember (you choose), and other information.
To log in any time, click that same link.
Editing wiki pages
Click an "edit" link on the page to make changes to the page. To edit the whole page, click the "edit" link at the top of the page. If the page is separated into sections by headings, you can click the "edit" link to the right of a heading to edit only that section.
Renaming a page
If you need to change the name of a page, you can't just change the text of the link to the page. To change the name of the page itself, click the "move" link at the top of the page, type a new name for the page, and click the Move button.
Note that renaming the page doesn't not fix all the links from other pages to the page -- you need to change those yourself. The wiki creates a "redirect" page that bounces from the old name to the new name.
Seeing the history of a page
To see previous versions of a page and who made what changes, click the "history" tab at the top of the page. You can compare a previous version to the current version to see what changes it contains.
If you make a horrendous mistake on a page and want to return to the previous version, display the previous version, click "edit", and save it. This saves the older version in place of the newer version, so use this method with care.
Using your watchlist
Your watchlist is the list of wiki pages that you want to keep an eye on -- it's like your "Favorites" list. You can add a page to your watchlist when you edit the page. Click the "Watch this page" checkbox.
To see your watchlist, you have to be logged in. Click the "my watchlist" link at the top of the page.
